HEINEN HAPPENINGS – April 2025

Friends, here is a short prayer newsletter. I apologize for the delay since the last one. I will not include a devotional this month, as I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain lately.

I do need to announce the birth of our first grandchild, Ezra Daniel Greenawalt, born to Noah and Victoria on February 19th. While Leah and I shared our joy on Facebook, we wanted to let family and friends know through our prayer update. We praise God for His goodness to our entire family. Noah and Victoria are wonderful parents to this perfect little boy.

Please join us in thanking our loving Lord for this incredible gift! Please pray for wisdom to be given to the new parents and ask our great God to protect Ezra and bring him to Himself at a young age.

While we share our joy concerning Ezra’s birth, I also want to share our family’s sorrow. My dear stepmother, Mary Lou Heinen, passed into eternity on December 21st. Mary was a terrific stepmother and  dearly loved our children. Please pray for our family as we try to adjust to life without someone we cherished so much. If you want to read about her exceptional life, I am including a link to her obituary.

Please continue to pray for Tim and Rebekah in New Jersey and for Maria as she finishes up her school year here in Arkansas. Please pray for Leah as she faces many health issues,  especially stomach problems that limit how often she can leave the house. And please pray for me as I battle severe neuropathy and am scheduled for surgery for carpal tunnel on April 18th if the Lord provides needed finances. Please pray for His continued provision as we have experienced increased expenses lately and a drop in income, as I am no longer preaching. We praise God that the two churches where I was doing pulpit supply have both called pastors! Great is His faithfulness!

How can we pray for you? Please let me know. My email is brheinen1@gmail.com. We love you and appreciate you.
